OSN stores links. We encourage everyone to store his or her documents in a digital format.
There are a lot of options when it comes to storing digital documents.
Using Google Sites
The general OSN practice is to create links to materials that are stored on university servers. In this way the referenced materials will be the most up-to-date.
Institutions have different resources, policies regarding the storage of course materials.
OSN has adopted the use of Google Sites as a way to create, edit and share information about curriculum materials and links to the materials themselves.
We chose Google Sites as the host for several reasons:
- It is a free resource.
- It is easy to create and edit materials.
- It provides safe storage (i.e., backup).
Information about Google Sites and tutorials on creating Google Sites pages can be found on the following links. (Doing a search will provide many, many more resources.)
